Alexander Maier (Kleinkariert, Buzzin Fly, Criminal) began his career spinning underground techno in Stuttgart, Germany. Over the years he has become more influenced by the deeper, darker, more soulful US house sound and today he mixes up minimal trance and tech with a housier edge rarely spun in Germany. He has a unique sound that never fails to get bodies grooving patterns on the dancefloor.
Alex has released his superb production work on renowned labels EXUN, BUZZIN FLY, CRIMINAL records, ROBOTRONIC and MOOD MUSIC. You can catch Alex Maier spinning in Stuttgart and around Southern Germany and wider Europe. Discotronic loves to catch up with Alex in his studio for a chat and some production tips and are hopeful of organising a tour with him to Australia soon.
